Michael Flaster has been a frequent speaker and panelist at a variety of regional and national media conferences. His talks and lectures have grappled with issues of research, management, programming, new technology, development, leadership and community outreach. He has spoken at number of PBS and NPR annual conventions and was a panelist at national conferences staged by the Association of for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, the Public Television Program Director’s Association, the National Association of Music Personnel in Public Radio as well as New York University’s Stern Graduate School of Business.
